What should I do with this domain name?

Currently I own the domain and ecommerce store: LED Flashlights | Brightest Flashlight | LED Headlights | Tactical Flashlights (LEDFlashlight.com) and don't know if I did enough research before jumping all in. I setup an ecom site, thinking I could just drop ship US flashlights, but I cant compete on the pricing from all the chinese sites like dealextreme, lightake etc.. I don't get much traffic as I haven't done any advertising really, but from just organic traffic if I get one sale a month it is a lot. The traffic isn't the issue its the profit margin. I basically make $1 or less per item, and if you do a search and compare my prices with every other site on the interweb I am way higher in price.

I would like to get some opinions on monetizing this domain name whether it be a eCommerce site, a blog, affiliate site or whatever. Thanks

Try and flip it in order to cut your losses.

$1 per sale, and you still cant compete with the other prices?

Seems to be not worth the headache or the time/money you will need to invest. Make the site pretty and list it on Flippa hoping that somehow gets excited over the EMD and overpays.

thats not a bad domain name. like everyone else suggested sell on flippa. Boast your domain name seo potential and how you already got your foot in the door and everything is ready to go and you will get some bidders no doubt.

I think i'm gonna take one more crack at trying to get this ecommerce site rolling. I just cant give up yet and sell it.

why dont you keep the domain, rank it #1 in the SERPs for the keywords that have commercial intent and see if you can make the monies.

I would imagine if your pricing is at least somewhat competitive - you can still make more sells than the guy who is cheap as long as your #1 in the search engine.

of course, don't be selling flashlights for $1000 each and think you're going to sell more than the guy who is selling them for $1 each.

Maybe you could setup an Amazon store and resell the highest-selling, lowest-priced, and most-unique flashlight related items. You could do seasonal products - Halloween themed flashlights, Christmas, New Years. Post some how-to articles to get extra longtail traffic. You're going to need to rake in organic traffic to be profitable. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm currently selling some pretty powerful link offers that you can use to jump up in the SERPs for competitive terms. Not sure if the pricing is in your ballpark though, considering your low profit margin.

Not a bad looking site. You should become more active on your social media properties which you link to in the footer and have them open up in new tabs when you click on them. Maybe use visual website optimizer to focus more on conversions and find a cheaper supplier from a place like alibaba.com. Those are just some initial thoughts.
