Started taking a bunch of stuff..nothing contraindicative but for my workouts, and just general health:

1.5-2 scoops on lifting days, 1 scoop on cardio days:

Little bit of this added to my jack3d before workout to get a higher content:

And finally:

So a lot, but specific purposes, and some not every day. Approaching 400lb on squats, 250-275 on bench, and 250-275 on cleans (200 on clean + jerk)

Oh and da berries.

nothing... just lots of chicken/beef, brown rice, broccoli and protein powder. i drink lots of coffee too.

i've tried every supplement under the sun and they never really did anything for me.

jack3d got you up this late? lol
Although strong at first, I felt it stop working after only a few days.

I take the following:
ON Whey protein
Animal Pak multi-vitamin
VPX Meltdown
Probiotics
Amazing Grass Green SuperFood
HemoRage (PreWorkout/NO2)
Creatine (forget what brand)
Chromium
Taurine

there's only a couple where I can actually feel a difference (jack3d and yok3d I feel), the rest are general health - fish oil especially, good for blood pressure and heart. turns out it actually might help with muscle building for some reason, studies are showing. Creatine is an odd one too, studies showing it's good for brain function now

Watch out for the vitamin A in those yellow multivitamins.. most multis don't include vitamin A because the excess doesn't just get pissed out.. it builds up and can become toxic, especially with that one being 200% RDI.

thanks for this - looked it up, apparently the lowest found daily dose of Vitamin A that can lead to liver toxicity is 15000 IU, so I'll watch this stuff. It especially is bad on days where you drink a lot of booze apparently. Could probably use a half a dose and be pretty well off still.

Don't take vitamin a, take pro vitamin a, i.e. beta carotene. Your body converts it to vitamin a as and when it wants. I take 25,000 IU a day, no problems.

Same with vitamin d, don't take it. Take vitamin d3 which is the bio available form, and is difficult to overdose. I take 5000IU a day and in winter 10,000IU a day. On days I feel I need a boost in immune function, I take like 50,000+ iU a day.

I actually take alot of supplements, I'll list them later.

You are missing BCAA Amino Acids

Great tip! Glutamine always seemed to work well for me for lactic acid.

I've been slacking on my supplements. When I used to lift more often I would do protein shakes--chocolate/banana/tablespoon of peanut butter. It's good. Ferris talks about using almond butter before bed to regulate your blood sugar. I've been meaning to get on that kick.

3mgs of melatonin and sometimes kava kava to sleep. Gives you great vivid dreams.

Clears out lactic acid like nothing else Ive ever found

Take everyday
Resveratrol (bulk powder)
Vitamin D3

Take a few times a week
CoQ10
Fish Oil (Omega 3)
Multivitamin (AOR Ortho-Core) - if I ate a lack of nutrient rich foods that day
NAC (Time released) - if I am going to be exposed to loud sounds and/or plan to drink heavily
Melatonin - if I can’t sleep

LOL, some of those are darn hilarious. But on a serious note, I do take Centrum myself,
though I don't notice a considerable effect upon doing so. Weird?

You may want to look more closely into what they put into USP-Labs products. I found that their "proprietary blends" are just some of the most absurd shit ever, like 90% walnut oil?
Try sticking with BSN products, more expensive but they make some killer shit.
