Hi guys - can anyone advise on this matter?

I've sent PPC traffic to an affiliate program and have earned more than $1k in commissions.

The trouble is that I should have been paid weeks ago, and have emailed the program manager several times about it but have had no reply.

The phone number given redirects to voicemail so I guess I won't be able to ask them on the phone.

Is there anything I can do about this, or am I screwed?

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,

Rosie

The program is Selmedica Healthcare.

I've been making sales since February 2007, but didn't reach the $250 mark until the end of March. According to their terms and conditions, you don't get paid until you've generated commissions of $250.

They pay out twice a month, so I was expecting a paypal payment either in April or May.

I'd really appreciate some advice.

Thanks in advance,

Rosie

That report is depressing. At least other people reading this will stay clear of this company.

rosieg, holy crap, if you are actually able to sell health insurance to your viewers, you'll go far in this biz.

Learn a lesson from this, do your research on a company before promoting. Searching google for "Selmedica Healthcare," see the second result to ripoffreport? Two seconds of research would have told you to avoid.

Hi Scott. At the time I signed up with the company I couldn't find anything about them ripping off their affiliates. Their products looked good at the time and I ordered a few with pretty decent results.

I wish more affiliates had spoken up about them in forums, because I a few months ago, this info wasn't so readily available.

Can anyone recommend some decent supplement affiliate programs?

Rosie

They use to be in ShareASale for quite some time. You had no problem with getting paid from them then. They were even paying per $0.02 per click plus $4+ per sale in ShareASale.

Hi Rosie,

When I started reading this post and saw that you said
it was Selmedica, I had to reply to this.

I had lot's of problems with them as well, and had
gotten the run around from them for months. I finally
was lucky enough to get the webmaster of their site
to start helping me out, and long story short, I got
paid.

Now I have to say that I had to chase the hell out of
them to finally get paid, and they still owe me money,
but at least for me I got paid and broke even on my
advertising. I have since moved on to sell other
products, and lucky for me, I built a list of subscribers.
I hope you did too.

Here are a list of emails and phone numbers of people
I have for them.

Start With Alexander Caudill - Unfortunately, Alex
is no longer with Selmedica. He was the one who
helped me the most, but you can try to contact the
others from the list below.

Next is Emily Ford. She also works in accounting,
and you can catch her on Yahoo too. Her Yahoo
ID is eemz06bhs. After many conversations with
Alexander, I finally got a hold of Emily, who fedexed
me two of my three checks. Hey, two out of three aint
bad, right?:D

I'm going to look through more of my email messages
to see if I missed anything. If I find anyone else's
number, emails or instant messager ID's, I will post
them here for you.

Rosie, I know how you feel, I was there. Hell, I am still
waiting for my last check! My advice to you is get in
touch with Alexander first, tell him your story, and
let him help you. He is a good guy, and great contact
to help.

Emily is in accounting, and you can't get any closer
to the checkbook than that right! Everyone else is
a last resort, expecially Farrar. I only spoke to her
twice, and each time it was for less than 20 seconds.
But at least you know you can call and actually get
her.

And do what I did.

Stop advertising for them!

In my humble opinion, if I am spending my hard
earned money to advertise anyone's affiliate program,
I should NOT have to chase you down for my
commission checks. I am selling your product for you
dumbass! (not you Rosie, the merchant.. :))

Hope this helps, and good luck.

That sucks about Salmedica. I think I promoted them for a while back when they were with shareasale. They have great, really niche health products I couldn't find anywhere else.

Thank you so much for your help! It is much appreciated.

I've stopped all ppc campaigns, and will start chasing them up.

Thanks again.

Yes, you're right. They have great products which convert quite well.

I'm currently investigating the possibility of supplying competing products to my lists. Since I've spent the money on advertising and learned how to write good autoresponders to their niches, I may as well make the best of this situation.
