What tool do you use for long-tail keyword research?

Anyone tried this one? https://www.hittail.com/plans (I'm particularily interested in their 1-click article creation feature.)

Or any other good tool to generate a list of quality long-tails based on a short-tail?

keywordshitter doesn't give you search volume, cpc, and other performance info for each keyword. It's very limited.

If that's what you're looking for, try plugging the keywordshitter keywords into termexplorer.

^unnecessary extra step that wastes my time. Time > Money. I'd rather pay for a tool that does it all like the one in the OP.
