Im currently in the gaming niche (cheats specifically). On some days ive recieved 2167 adsense clicks and only $61!

Thats a little under 0.03 PPC! Fucking shocking.

Anyone recommend anything i should try? Im currently test running revenuescience (an overture company) to see how things fall out with them, anything better will do though!

Try auctionads by shoemoney.

Or amazon links to games / solution / strategy guides.

::emp::

ive tried Amazon ads before, and Ebay never seems to work well. CPA just doesnt seem to work for the niche (which is probably why the CPC is so low i guess, still sucks though!)

Im currently having something developed that will include Amazon and Ebay advertisements in a form of advertisements, so we shall see how that goes :)

Anyone have any suggestions, maybe some more specific CPA ads?

Url is: Cheats, Cheat codes and hints - Cheat Genius - dont install the zango :|

Why not try altering your current ads before flipping the switch completely? Perhaps change the colors, sizes, placement of ads? See if you're getting any arbitrage ads showing up and block ads from that domain.

Also, why not try the lead gen offers for free ps3 and wii and ipods?

how would changing the colours affect the ppc? I fail to see how thats relevant, ebay Amazon don't really work too well, i seem to get more with the low adsense ppc than with the seriously low sales.

I will look into the PS3 Wii Ipod leads, i tried them before but didnt really push them much.

Im currently outsourcing some software which will include Amazon and Ebay ads in it for the website, we shall see what comes of it.

hotscripts.com has free ebay ad integration scripts btw. also changing colors may mean more adsense clicks which means more money even if you are getting jack per click.

Sell text links, sell ad space privately and email offers should do pretty will.

Have you tried selling games/products?

Yeah sorry, read your question too quick. I guess part of the problem is that you would make more money on ads to SELL the game then ads for game CHEATS. All your ads are for game cheats.

So, change your meta tags, H1/H2, bolding, keywords, copy and then use the adsense code to tell google where to look for your relevant content. I would assume this niche could pay out very well if you take the time to build in-content links directly to products to accompany your ppc.

but yeah, while your current ads are showing for CHEATS... i would work on getting them to show for something more SALE oriented (even if you have to change to auction ads or banner ads to do so)

i cant simply do this, its a very popular site with most of my traffic coming for "cheats" keywords and from google. Changing all the keywords would basiclaly be shooting myself in the foot...

Stats came back in for revenuescience, and they are even worse than google. FAR higher cpc but eventual eCPM was lower. Ive now switched to AuctionAds, anyone from a gaming niche used them?

just don't pull the trigger for auctionads too quickly as you need a longer trial period since you wait until auctions end and users complete registration and bid before you get paid.

Considering you mentioned in another thread that you get 30,000 people a day to this site, have you tried experimenting with different CPM ads? tribalfusion.com, casalemedia.com, valueclickmedia.com, etc

I currently use casale and burst. But due to spyware tribal and vcm wont accept me, will apply again once they are removed and the new design etc online.

Jened: I understand i shouldnt pull the plug on it just quite yet, i have noticed they are pretty shitty ads though :s

For example, might just be the case in the Uk:
I make a keyword like "Halo 2 Video Game", which shows pictures perfectly. However when i click the link, it redirects to ebay with the search box with "Halo+2+Video+Game" and no results, maybe its just Uk results but it is pretty shitty if you ask me. Other than that the ads look great

Keeping you updated
Sent 7.5k impressions and 103 clicks, will see how this pans out over a few days

If it were me I'd look for a zip submit offer for a free up coming hot game. These are things like your Free iPhone type offers where they're taken down a co-reg path but you get paid for the zipcode submissions, usually around 1.50 per. Find and test some for upcoming video games or things that demographic would like. And you should do WAY better then what you are.

Do you know where's a good place to go for this sort of thing? I have had those offers before, but NEVER specific games. Things like Halo 3 game would go down a treat with my audience.

Oh and btw ad stats:
03/16 <aggregate> 6161 86 1.40% $0.00
03/17 <aggregate> 12092 116 0.96% $0.58
03/18 <aggregate> 9399 69 0.73% $0.00

Fucking shitty niche, bloody hate gaming. Still going to keep the ads on for another 4 days, take them off wait a month and then do some figures. See what is better, using AuctionAds and waiting for the cash or using Adsense and getting it straight away. Will see what the difference is in eCPM and go from there :)
