Taking this public since I'm pretty pissed about the piss-poor customer dis-service and neglect to refund.
It's the ol' rebill mentality free trial bs and then run from the refund routine and ignore cancellations scheme.

Short version: If you have any thoughts about going for the trial with whatrunswhere.com I recommend you don't. They ignore cancellations and have now banged my CC for two payments- I've called and emailed and jumped through all the hoops to get them to refund and they promise yet fail.

Doing a chargeback with my bank today. Thanks and have a nice day.

I can't really believe you have that experience with the best support I've seen(apart from pokerstars.com)

We do not ignore cancellations. In fact, we take our requests for cancellations online and it happens immediately.

WhatRunsWhere: Cancel.
It's available in your user panel when you login.

We'd rather you did :cool2:

The first message we received from you was on the May 29th, telling us that you had already cancelled - implying there was no need for action on our end. Our logs do not show you cancelling anywhere near that date.
At first glance it looks like the next time we heard from you was yesterday.

You gave us 24 hours. We would be more than happy to refund you.

If you're looking for an alternative, I've heard good things about AdBeat, by Mike Colella... Never used it though.

Odd, I actually had the opposite exchange with them. I was on the day the trial changes to full membership, forgot to cancel, sent an email and they processed my refund half a day later.

This was only 5-6 months ago too.

Never had a problem, they also make reactivation 1 click since my main focus is SEO at the moment, I had to cancel temporarily. Not to mention they are easily reachable on Skype and just about every aff forum. My question is, how could you not make money off of that data, it cuts down optimizing costs significantly. Good luck bro

what's your point? That has nothing to do with their customer support. And the rest of the world can play there. Moreover pokerstars was the only one of the 4 affected companies to give all the money to the US players. Everyone else failed to do that.

Pokerstars' support is the best customer support in the world and that has been proven numerous times by epic threads on poker forums.
