Sweet... I do believe we've found Pewep's hotbutton today.

A get-out-of-trolling-free card for anyone paying attention.

Pewep: To answer your question, one thing characteristic of whites is that we don't go around striking up conversations about what it is to be like the majority race. (Yet.)

Your insecurity shows, even if you feel secure or proud about your lineage &/or heritage. Us crackers would never think to strike up a conversation or forum thread even remotely close to this and that's because we have no reason to give a fuck.

How does it feel to be white? It doesn't.

Now tell us more about your daddy. I find it ironic that you (The token black guy who everyone picks on for being black) loves your dad while I disowned mine for acting the way everyone assumes yours acted.

Lmao, oh LukeP, to be honest you already know my weaknesses but you're too nice to fuck me up like that. You're wise well beyond your years and you're comfortable in your wisdom. Not many people are. I thank you for that.

I am curious...do you know many minorities? Specifically blacks. It has to feel something to be white, I mean every time I interact with one they make it blatantly obvious we are from different origins. I wish it weren't so but it is. Perhaps it's because I'm observing from the other side that I get a chance to see different behaviors.

My dad is a bad topic but I'll indulge you and only you. What would you like to know?

Barry paid good money for your dad, he can say whatever he wants

Nothing screams "Mexican Pride" like photoshopping some English language over the top of your flag.

Pewep, Dwight and Hack?

It's horrible... Sometimes I wake up, cry and ask myself, why! why! did my people persecute jews, blacks, etc. Everyday I just love giving my money to illegal aliens to help cope with the atrocities my people committed against non-whites. I'm just thrilled to see these minorities thriving on media outlets like television, internet, radio while our people are oppressed giving them a chance to succeed in life.. The chance we never gave them.

Don't suck up man, it's embarrassing.

More latinos than blacks, and of course tons of Thais. -But I've met blacks from lots of different cultures and even ones from England, who also had slave ancestors, would still look down upon the american blacks because they say "the US Government keeps them as welfare pets, and they receive no education." (British dude's words, not mine.)

I also went to university in a 50/50 black/white school in a very racist town. I learned to just stay the hell out of it whenever race came into a conversation.

Either you are imagining it, or that particular person has some kind of mental issue with class... It's not a "white" thing at all.

Well just that you claimed he's one of the smartest geniuses on the planet... Big claims like those require big evidence. Did he win any big awards like the Nobel prize? Does he work with Stephen Hawking? Did he invent anything we've heard of? What's he do with this vast knowledge? Etc... :conehead:

1. I don't suck up. I state facts. I do respect you LukeP. I actually like you a lot, I just make fun of you because we have completely different beliefs and I do not agree with you politically whatsoever.

2. I asked how many black people you knew PERSONALLY, not how many you've seen. I know you've seen a lot, but how many have you bothered to build a personal relationship with? How was your interaction with them? Was it similar or different to interactions with other races (depending on where the black was from).

3. It's not just in my imagination. Like I said I have spent most of my life in the south so maybe I am biased but I *know* for a fact from talking to whites that they have a set of preconceived notions about black people that I have to try very hard to break through.

4. My dad is from Kenya (like Obama). He won the Full bright scholarship for literature and english vs 1000s of other students and basically came from the slums, self educated himself and paid his way through college to become fairly wealthy. He had an abusive alcoholic father who beat the fuck out of him but because he was so hard headed and resilient, he managed to overcome both poverty and abuse to become the best that he could possibly be. I only know of 1 other person in his generation who did that. He genuinely is brilliant and every conversation with him is a treasure. He's a sensitive topic because he wasn't always a great father (even despite his accomplishments) because he didn't have a role model. Despite that he tried his best and I am so happy I got a chance to tell him how much I loved him and appreciated his guidance. I am happy I got a chance to tell him how sorry I was for being a spoiled little brat and going nuts during one of our many fights. Really, we are only human and I hope my dad knows where he is how much I love him and even though we make mistakes...tomorrow is a new day. He gave me everything. The only way I could pay him back is by having a kid and raising him/her to the best of my ability.

I love you too son.

I think a lot of black people have a huge insecurity complex about their skin color. Thus they obsess about it, try to go too hard the other way by "owning" it and proclaiming to the entire world how black they are and how amazing and unique their culture is, when nobody gives a fuck and finds it obnoxious and stupid. They start retarded threads like this obsessing about race, when in reality race means very little and culture is everything.

What's it like being black? Oh never mind, I could give two shits because there's far more important things to worry about and most psychologically healthy individuals never give more than 2 seconds of thought to their skin color.

I can't honestly say that I've built a close friendship with any one of them, they were all basically acquaintances, some I'd hang out with more than others, like frat brothers, band buddies and dorm-mates. (One black dude who roomed across the hall from me for 2 years was a huge Anime/Manga fan and we swapped VHS tapes & video games back and forth constantly.)

Just to be clear, I didn't discourage any such relationships, in fact I believe I only made two friends at all that would fit the description you asked for, my entire time at uni. (One was a huge Samoan quarterback though, does that count?)

About a decade later I worked kinda closely with an older black guy who was extremely well educated and you'd forget he's black in a heartbeat. He had no rhythm at all... And was the biggest Opera fan I ever knew! (No, I didn't misspell Oprah there. He could sing tenor like a pro!)

He was pretty cool and we've had some beers together but I haven't seen him since I quit my last J-O-B and moved away.

Um, well, you're talking to a whitey now and I know that I don't. However, if you came up to me with a pick stuck in your fro and colt 45 on your breath talking in Ebonics begging for pocket change, perhaps I'd get biased real fast... I bet you would too.

Anyone with intelligence will judge others by their actions. The crackers who have helped you form your opinion of other white folks don't sound that intelligent to me. Then again, on average, americans from the south are some of the stupidest people this planet has ever had to put up with, so no surprise there.

Having such a good father is what saved you from a fate like the fools we make fun of all the time. Of course it somehow backfired a bit and made you the biggest troll WF has ever seen... But hey, nobody's perfect.

So try not to procreate if you can help it. The net can't possibly handle more trolling than you do yourself.

To answer your question though...what's it like being white? Pretty general question. I know what it is like being white, but it is completely subjective. Some whites live good, some live like shit, some do well. Just like anyone of any other color is going to do.

Stop worrying about your skin color, and worry about what is important...being happy in your own skin black/white/tan/red/yellow.

1. Well, only you and God know if you have made an earnest effort to befriend a negroid. I'd say you're better than 99% of whites. I'd love to have a beer with you some time. For the record I'm a HUGE classical fan. Have you seen this crazy shit?

2. God I wish I could just hug you. YES most people are ridiculously silly.

3. Haha, my daddy didn't make me a troll. I just find WF to be an outlet for my more eccentric behavior, otherwise I'd result to actually having to meet intelligible human being and interact with them.
