not really, the best affiliate marketers in the business usually make only $10-20 a day, half of that goes back to ppc costs. it's just for some pocket change, tolls, phone booths, stuff like that.
That was true for 2007, but 2008 is going to be waaay better...like $22-24 a day. I'm at $21.65 now, and by the end of the year I should be able to cover my web hosting costs!
I think that photo of shoemoney's adsense cheque was what made him "famous". So a lot of others like to copy. and of course brag. But they never show their true profits. Just the odd cheque here and there. Never take into account how much they spent. (i think most (shoemoneys was anyway?) mainly via ppc traffic)

)Well, I've been doing AM for about 4 months now. First month I started at $.38/day and now I am at $.93/day. I am sooooo excited, I can almost taste the $1/day mark!
