Not sure I see the value proposition here. The vast majority of items that actually sell for < $1.00 have most of the price built into the shipping cost.
not a bad idea. plays on the human emotion that hopefully, just maybe, one might find an ipod touch on ebay found for 'below a buck' (esp if he puts that category up on the website)
they're making some good loot off the cookies tho.... nobody wants a 2 cent ebay commission. when that belowabuck.com visitor needs a new $1000 laptop and they buy it on ebay with belowabuck.com cookies in their browser then that is when it becomes worth it.
Similar thing been done over at Goofbay on the last minute bargains section. Not that many people doing it, I think it could be a good thing to try out.
