Hi guys,

I am a web developer that has been working on a content distribution tool (a simple cloud database that allows you to connect any type of data such as blog posts, products, special deals, etc to multiple end-points such as websites, mobile apps, etc simultaneously) for the better part of a year. I recently finished the core tech, which is working amazingly, and have started my marketing push.

I have gone the usual routes such as making a Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and have also started my own blog. Additionally, I have been posting on Tumblr, been chatting in IRC channels, and posting on other sites like HackerNews. Besides participating in marketing efforts in these locations, are there any other important places that I may have overlooked?

Yesterday, my service was featured on Product Hunt, which actually boosted my traffic a ton and got me a lot of subscribers. I want to try and keep that traffic volume up, so any other places that come to your mind I would love to hear about them. I am interested in general marketing strategies as well. Thanks!

Go Facebook ads as an addition to the traffic your getting. Own blog like blogger blogs or your site? Cause it would be better if you have the site to redirect traffic plus it shows professionalism

Post to forums that needs what your developing. Post like a bunch of non spam helpful post and use your sig. Cant think of any additional sources right now
