I used to buy all my domains though GoDaddy but they've jacked their price of .org's up to 19.99 a year. Their shitty interface was put up with for their low prices, but no more. Anyone have a registrar suggestion that:

1. Has cheap .orgs (other TLD's being cheap would obviously also be a positive)
2. Has been around for a few years and is well established.
3. Has a reasonably easy to use interface.
4. Has decent customer support.

Thanks.

You can try Namecheap.com. They offer free WhoIs too. There seems to always be a discount coupon on the domains so you'll want to look into that.

namecheap.com like 8.99 for a domain with a coupon. never used customer support though.

ruler-domains.com has free privacy protection and lets you individually set each domain's contact info with no verification. they also accept 'anonymous' payment methods like webmoney.

what are you talking about? Dynadot is only $7.75 at bulk rate for a .org and they are still giving grace periods for domains.

I used to love Dynadot, but now they've raised their prices like crazy (even their bulk ones). Also they no longer allow tasting as they used to, so it's now almost useless.

.Org's were (if I remember properly) at $4.99 not so long time ago. And .Info's at $1.99
(or was it 0.99? I can't remember it now.) as well as .Cn's.

Grace periods: they are still giving them. But not like they used to do:
Grace Deletions - Dynadot.com

$2 per grace deletion!

All this makes them useless (also, there's no guarantee of that they will be able to grace delete the domains) for bulk, automated domain tasting.
