Hello!
Considering this is my first post to the forum, I figure I should introduce myself. My name is Emmy and I am 22 years old. I'm in my first year at Full Sail University for Internet Marketing and I work as a pilates/ yoga instructor at a local gym.
I'm currently working on my first niche membership website, should be up and running without the next two days, fingers crossed! What I'm wondering is where I can find other marketers who are interested in either investing in the creation or partnering with me?
Thank you for taking the time to help! (:

Fair question. I don't exactly need a partner or investor. It's more of a want, really. The way I look at it is "Why not?" I feel like having a partner or investor would only help make the website better. I feel as if it could grow and be more effective with others support and input. I like having people that I can exchange new ideas with. It's nice to have a fresh perspective.

If you want a true partner, you better bring something to the table. Most partnerships are formed because they're mutually beneficial; each person is getting something that they need in return for something they can offer.

Often this comes down to money, or programming skill, or design skill, or some specific skill that one partner lacks.

Exactly. I feel as though I am bringing a lot to the table, however, I am not sure if others will agree.
I developed the entire business plan. I created content and outsourced the rest. (I have enough to keep the entire site running for the next five months at least - I like to plan ahead haha) I also invested in all of the software that went into the creation, which was quite costly, but I am sure it will be worth it.
I do have other costs to take care of though (advertising, etc). I could afford to do so alone if necessary, but I would like have a partner, silent or not, to help cover those costs.
I tried some angel investor websites like go4funding. I offered to share the plans with anyone interested and ask any questions they may have, but so far no replies. I only posted the requests a couple days ago, so I'm hoping it's too early to worry!
Thanks for your input :)
