Conference is going to be at the Javits Convention Center. I usually stay at the London on NY trips but looks like it's a little far from this location. Any recommendations, looking for something within walking distance.

any hotels near times square are close enough to the jarvis center. ~5 minute cab ride or shorter

Too much noise there. I'm staying in the financial district this time so I can get some peace of mind there in NY. That place drives me up the fucking wall.

Mandarin is your solution there, convenient, can get a run in the park in the morning to help sweat out the vodka from last night yet not as crazy as time's square
The Hotel Penn is across the street from Penn Station on 7th Avenue and 32nd Street, closer to the Javits than anything at Times Square. The Javits would be accessible via a crosstown bus, the 34th Street M34.
I was at the Javits two days ago for SMX. There's nothing much else in the immediate area, which is like the last time I was there.
If my bank clears the $1.39U.S adsense check in time I`m staying at a homeless shelter, one that is close to the greyhound bus terminal

If you want to be close to the event but still be in a nice Hotel with a good bar
Stay at the Westin.. If you want something in a awesome little more laid back not so tourist trap and has a sick bar, plus endless good eats and drinks near by stay at the

ditto on the tribeca grand. Within interesting walking distance from chinatown/little italy/fin. dist.
agreed on the financial district. i stayed there for ASE with friends and will do it again for adtech. granted i had to do some back and forth but it was worth it. probably the best trip i've ever had to nyc.
