While surfing around to learn about a new gallery plugin I have installed for one of my blogs, I came across a site with some odd looking Adsense ads.
I am not affiliated with this site
Take a look between the paragraphs that end in "which is still a bit buggy." and the next begins with "For presentation...". I'm sure the ad rotates somewhat, but for me it just displayed this:
Firefox with Google Toolbar
I first thought it was an odd link to have in the article, but when I hovered the mouse over it - it sure as hell was an Adsense ad. The link read "pagead2 . googlesyndication . com/pagead/iclk?sa=l&num=0&client=ca-ref-pub-953xxxxxxxxxxx"... etc.
But the ad had no "Ads by Google" next to it, unlike some of the other ads on the same page. Obviously this guy is no premium publisher, but how did he display that without the "Ads by Google" logo?
If this is an Adsense format I wasn't aware of, I'll be sure to start using it.
