Noob territory for me on this one.

I don't think we have an incent section here, wondering if anyone has good experience with creating prize sites and survey offer sites?

I know of a good handful of CPA networks that provide the incent offers for a few of the bigger survey offer sites and prize sites out there.

My question comes with the tracking of it. Meaning, tracking offer completion and crediting the user with points/money.

I know of out of the box solutions like ShiftCode which a lot of GPT sites use, but my understanding is the layout isn't very customizable. I know the style of site we want to model, but not sure of the following:

• Tracking offer completion as mentioned (gpttracker.com?)
• Integration into offer feeds from the incent networks (I know Shiftcode can do this)

Anyone have intimate knowledge in building one of these?

Thanks.

May not be at all related, but my girlfriend lives on this site called polyvore, and I just did visit it for the first time today. Potential help if you mine it.

It the reference is worthless, sorry.

Give me a PM if you want.

What are you looking to create a GPT site, click site, Referral site or something in between?

Ah a site something that gives out free stuff per referrals and stuff? Yeah been into those shit before but never been on the biz.

Ussually crediting your users can be accomplished with postbacks. This method posts back the data to your api every time a sale has been made automatically crediting your user. I have a lot of networks having problems when I set them up with offers because DirectTrack doesn't have postback capabilities. You would need to set up a cron job in your API to automatically check with DT (say every 5 mins) to check if a sale has been made. I would like to know more on this too though and am new to incent as well.

can use instcred.com for a lot of directtrack networks for a pretty nominal fee.

Correct, many of the premade scripts use postback or have it where they upload CSVs from the networks every couple minutes.

A lot of networks that have many incent campaigns have postback settings that you can input into these scripts and have everything tracking flawlessly.

If you have other questions feel free to ask, I'll try my best to answer them.

No problem, if you need any more help hit me up, I run a few incent sites, but I do use shiftcode.

I'll probably take you up on that thanks... I have nothing against shiftcode really.

I'm interested in setting up something like PrizeRebel. It seems like it has a straightforward backend to it, I could be totally wrong of course.
