Today Azoogle dropped nearly their entire financial section without notice, and without a good explanation. The only thing I could get out of my AM was that it had something to do with a "compliance issues", and then I was told later that they are trying to get away from e-mail submits and cash advance type offers.

Anyone know what might have changed in this arena, and if any other networks will follow suit?

Azoogle sucks and is dying. I'd move away from them anyways. What specific kind of financial offers are you looking for?

Specifically, cash advance and mortgage.

I moved most of what I have going to COPEAC and NeverBlue.

I can't speak low enough of my experience with Azoogle since I started with them. I'm under-amazed. They do not have the highest payouts like they boast. They yank things regularly without any notice at all. Then they redirect the flood of traffic to a bunch of unrelated offers that have a snoballs chance in hell of converting.

... on man, I shouldn't have started, now it's going to be hard to stop, haha.

Then they yank their little bonus program.. which who gives a shit, but their justification for doing so was bogus. They claimed to have bumped payouts... which they did, on a couple things. Like I noticed webfetti got a bump of .05, and some other offers got a very, very small bump... offers that 10 affiliates do 90% of the revenue on.

And so that my entire post isn't just one long string of complaints - when I switched over to Copeac in a crunch yesterday - they were VERY accomodating, and extremely helpful.

A lot of states have either already passed or are in the process of passing laws that prohibit or greatly restrict payday loans. For example, here in Georgia it's now a felony to offer payday loans. I'd guess they're leaving the sinking ship because it's going the way of online gambling.

nothing changed in financial, there are still plenty of payday loan offers out there. One advertiser made a change to the type of form they used and thats it. I am sure you'll find other payday offers in the hundreds of other growing networks out there.

Spendlessly...

Mike is correct in that nothing has changed in this vertical.

I am told that the decision by Azoogle to remove these types of offers is based on the fact that they themselves deemed payday loan offers non compliant for their network.

If you would like any more info or advice on the payday loan/cash advance niche (as we specialize in this), please do not hesitate to contact me.

Oh man. I had a few AZ offers on one of my websites (they were not financial related) and they weren't scheduled to expire until next year. When selecting new offers, I ascertain that I only use those that aren't going to expire for a long time so that I don't have to nurse my websites.

So anyway, I went to one of my sites for something - can't remember what exactly - probably to snag my own code - and several of the offers were dead. As someone mentioned above, they were linking to some other unrelated offer that I'm sure if there were conversions, I probably wouldn't even get paid for.

So the next day I logged into AZ to find some new offers to replace the ones that prematurely expired, and the first offer that I chose - the banners were all mixed up. Half the banners were from the correct offer and the rest of the banners were from a totally different offer. So I forgot about it and used offers from another network.

The AZ people have been really friendly and helpful, but I find their programs lacking. There are other networks out here that have way better offers, more offers that people actually want.

From now on I'm only going to use AZ for certain things.
