I'm trying to promote some download offers on PPV...wanted to try out directcpv...and for some reason they rejected my LPs. No spyware/trojan/malware of any kind...just typical adware download cpa offer. Any ideas? I sent them an email a day ago asking why but no reply yet...fuck i hate this kind of bullshit took those fuckers 2 days just to reject it with no explanation. worse than fb

on most PPV traffic sources you cant promote toolbar downloads... since that would be essentially allowing competition with their own toolbar product.

DirectCPV sells you the traffic they get from interstitial advertisements shown to people who are surfing the net and have their adware toolbars from the loudmo.com affiliate program installed (chameleon tom, etc.). So allowing toolbar download advertisements is counter-intuitive and they would possibly lose some of the surfers you are paying them to advertise to.

it's because those download offers "may" conflict with their adware.

...and DirectCPV is gay

oh. rofl ic. sigh i guess its time to try switching the URLs after approval like facebook...lol
i dont even care if i get banned. i just keep hearing bad shit about directCPV and want to spend my $100 and get out. lols

As much as Angie failed on WF, she was a fuckin good account manager. (anyone heard from her?)

DirectCPV are/were fine. I made good roi from their system, much fucking better than mediatraffic.

@olesh999 deposit $150 not 1k.. if your campaign goes well just top up, shit.

affluent, most if not all ppv networks don't allow to promote other adware with their own, I just don't see what's up with it ? it's common sense.

yea I agree MediaTraffic is garbage.... but for me DirectCPV is almost as bad. Lead Impact & Traffic Vance 4 lyfe!

I also work with directcpv and they've been fuckin up lately. Takes them 2 days to get my ads rejected, and another 2 days to respond to email.

DirectCPV blows for me a swell. Won't be depositing any more money there that's for sure.

True, most downloads are just to get a piece of google's search revenue and include a toolbar/homepage reset, incentized with some POS smiley/cartoonify yourself or other crap. Why would any CPV company want take your $ to wipe out the work they have already done? If you do install this stuff, you are just hurting the CPV network you are seeking to buy traffic from. If they have a TV POP, a Zango POP, a DirectCPV POP, the user will end up formatting his PC and everyone looses.

Only some select .exe's have been approved, but DirectCPV will need to sandbox them and test them for conflicts before allowing. Reg cleaners and the likeness do convert very well, but are just not allowed.

Angie, I believe went to Nokia, she's doing ok.

Find out who your AM is and email them. There is no "alerting" system, so just ping your AM, and they will approve.

P.S. If you flip destination pages with unapproved content(adware/malware/scareware), your account will most likely be suspended. And yes we know how to use a HTTP proxy and can trace it back to you.

o snap :p

DCPV rejected my landing page last week for a ringtone offer. I thought it was because I had it dynamically rotating landing pages and I emailed them and they said they thought my term 'download ringtones now' intended for downloading software...not sure how you could confuse a clearly mobile ringtone offer with that, but oh well.

lots of those ringtone offers have some stupid autoplaying audio or anything similar. could have been that. there are a few other things that can get your stuff rejected, you have to look into their FAQ as to what is allowed and what not (different from network to network).
