Why do people search =job search or =work ???

In my prosper 202 tracking, I've been getting a lot of people using the equals sign before the search word. Is this another way to do exact or phrase match searches?

No, the equal sign isn't even a search operator for Google queries.

Nope, people are just retarded. I've seen people searching stuff like *keyword*, -keyword, @keyword, etc. If it's a large amount of traffic maybe it's a glitch...?

They may have tried to use + and missed the shift key.
