AT&T blocked 4chan today to all of their customers... basically becoming the first major ISP in the U.S. to censor the Internet. - AT&T is now blocking all access to img.4chan.org, effectively blacklisting /b/ and censoring the internet. : reddit.com

Of all the sites to block, 4chan was probably not the best first choice. This should be fun to watch.

I despise 4chan. I don't think you could engineer a more concentrated mass of insufferably obnoxious nerd rage if you wanted to.

That said, this is a big deal and AT&T is making a huge mistake here. People always preach doom and gloom about how Google is the big bad brother, but ISPs have and always will be the largest threat to internet freedom and privacy.
