I'd have to say the people behind Cake marketing are one of the major reasons I switched from HO to Cake. They're extremely friendly, helpful, and work around the clock to provide network owners with everything they need.
Their technology is excellent in my opinion. They're lacking some features, but have several features that are unique to Cake, and there's lots of features that are made extremely simple such as uploading creatives, sending a publisher assets via email (in one click) which includes their link, offer description, suppression lists/opt out, etc, and I feel that tracking is outstanding.
Simply from our transition from HO to Cake, I noticed quite a few of our offers that we've had up for the long term converted better in Cake.
Where it lacks in my opinion: HasOffers had a great invoicing/billing system IMO (just a bit glitchy), whereas Cake's has some work to do to make it more efficient -- but Cake does have the functionality of integrating with Quickbooks. HasOffers was also a much more system for affiliates, which I believe many affiliates love about HasOffers, while Cake is a bit more complex.
At the end of the day, I suppose it comes down to preference, but I'm very happy with my switch and am happy to pay more for a system that I believe is efficient for affiliates, advertisers, and obviously the network itself.
