What's soooo good about it? HasOffers seems better to me and cheaper.

I'd have to say the people behind Cake marketing are one of the major reasons I switched from HO to Cake. They're extremely friendly, helpful, and work around the clock to provide network owners with everything they need.

Their technology is excellent in my opinion. They're lacking some features, but have several features that are unique to Cake, and there's lots of features that are made extremely simple such as uploading creatives, sending a publisher assets via email (in one click) which includes their link, offer description, suppression lists/opt out, etc, and I feel that tracking is outstanding.

Simply from our transition from HO to Cake, I noticed quite a few of our offers that we've had up for the long term converted better in Cake.

Where it lacks in my opinion: HasOffers had a great invoicing/billing system IMO (just a bit glitchy), whereas Cake's has some work to do to make it more efficient -- but Cake does have the functionality of integrating with Quickbooks. HasOffers was also a much more system for affiliates, which I believe many affiliates love about HasOffers, while Cake is a bit more complex.

At the end of the day, I suppose it comes down to preference, but I'm very happy with my switch and am happy to pay more for a system that I believe is efficient for affiliates, advertisers, and obviously the network itself.

Cake is solid. Once you understand the way things are set up, it's very simple. There definitely needs to be some improvements, but I have been all over them for the past 18 months and most of the upgrades and additions are in the works. =)

HasOffers is fucking horrible.
I cannot wait until I'm fully transferred off onto my inhouse.

CORRECTION HasOffers used to be fucking horrible.

They have made a lot of progress and it works pretty well now, 6-12 months ago, I would have agreed with you.

Don't lie, she's the reason you guys are with Cake ;)

Cake has issues, but less than others.

Biggest issue is that in the admin area you can't resize the windows. Apparently their staff works on 15-17" lcd monitors so they don't understand why you might want to make a window bigger.

I must have had a bad experience with Cake, I talked to I think...Darren over there. (may be wrong)

The guy was a total asshole joke. Cake is hilariously over priced, their parent company is failing, went public then got shot down to the shit OTC exchange.

Maybe its gotten better since I talked to them. It was maybe 8 months ago. The only thing that is "cool" is the ping-tree that hooks in with the affiliate platform.

HasOffers literally tracks maybe half my leads, no one else has tracking issues with them?
