I'm going to sit down with Zingo and we're going to be changing policies here.
No policies, not here nor offline in the political or social realm, are airtight. We are pretty damn lax compared to most places. We give warnings. We allow people to come back and have second sometimes third or fourth chances even... and many times, the lesson is learned the first time, depending on the issue and severity.
But what I don't see a lot of, is respect.
I understand competition better than all of you combined. In fact, you guys are so incredibly lucky that you don't have me as a competitor, because you would not be able to effectively compete for very long, and that's playing by the rules. But I respect my enemies/competitors. I don't like may of them, but I have and I show respect, because it is business.
I know there are a lot of merchants here putting up some pretty impressive weekly sales figures. I even know that from the top five merchants here, the combined revenue rivals that of most affiliate's earnings per week and month respectively. But what I don't see, is that you guys are playing by the rules.
So with that said. We are going to change policies here. Change rules.
I'm aiming for overhaul of policies due out by September 1st 2012. Hopefully we can do it before that, but let's aim for that date for now.
Policy changes will be focusing on the following topics:
- Creating a more competitive market.
- Ratings will reward those that provide higher quality ethics and standards to our members here.
- Through a very interesting multi-variable algorithm theory that stock markets use, we're going to apply that here. Basically... I am all for free markets and allowing markets to police themselves.
- Lesser regulations, but let's not be naive here, can't do away with all rules/policies/regulations. That would just be incredibly foolish on our part.
- Very likely going to raise the financial barrier of entry. (for those that don't speak/read English well, it means raise prices to post/operate here, and introduce new options to give more variety too).
I'm sure people will be pissed, just like before, because this fucks with their profits. Well, tough shit. You don't like it, don't participate. This is not a popularity contest. Its a business. Like yours.
I want to see quality of services increase here.
I want to see Zingo spend less time and effort policing and more time on his own business ventures.
I want to see the market police itself.
I want to see fraudsters get annihilation by other merchants and buyers.
I want to see the volume of profits increase for everyone, buyers and sellers alike.
But we don't live in a perfect world (thankfully, cmon, if we did it would be so boring!), but I do believe in being fair, being just, practicing common sense, being practical, keeping things simple and quick (unlike my posts).
Bottom line. I don't care what color you are, which god you pray to and curse, which gender you prefer to have sex with, which political sector you follow like a drone, what nationality you or your folks are, or even which country you came from or live at now (well, except for the banned list as Americans we cannot trade/do business with, sorry guys, your money is too evil for us). All I care about is that you are fair and practical with your customers. That you respect WickedFire for what we have and what we've built here, and you keep things based here (yeah.. say bye bye to linking out of here, too much fraud going on from that, sorry guys). Our fees are minor in comparison to what I see some of you clearing after just a few sales. Now its time to level the playing field.
Thanks for reading, you can wake up now.
