Hey guys - I have over 30 days of paid leave built up and I'm planning on using some large portion of it this winter to escape the freezing state of Iowa where the AF has me right now to go somewhere warm. Puerto Rico is the only place I've really researched, want to find somewhere where I can chill on a beach and just really restart my engines. High rate of english speaking natives would be a plus as well.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I should check out going?

gold coast australia, i always go there, only 10 hour drive from me tho.

Hmm do you want to goto just 1 place or numerous?

If one place I'd say St. Martin (Dutch side)... Maho Beach hotel is nice and the beach is next to the air port which gives you a great show and really isnt loud by the hotel.

If you want to hit a few places, I'd say try a South Caribbean cruise. They leave from San Juan, PR (maybe stay there a few days first) then it takes you to barbados, st. lucia, st. kitts and more.

Everywhere speaks English so you should be fine.
