with so many advertising platforms out there, with how much money did you guys start advertising? I have a few dollars that im ready to use to start testing. I just want to get a response from people that actually do this for a living
Nickycakes said on his blog that he got into facebook at $15/day (I believe). It will take you awhile, depending on the competitiveness of any particular miche, to get statistically relevant data in order to tweak your campaign if you are running on Goog
I few hundred bucks is what I started out with ... I couldnt invest a lot in the beginning but as money started coming in I could also spend more. I only do PPC these days and it works quiet well.
Thanks... i thought nobody was doing ppc no more since everywere i read everyone is talking about ppv, media buys and facebook ads. Im using article marketing as my source for traffic until i get some money to be able to buy traffic
I'd recommend start with free traffic. You pretty much have to build a site and optimize it for Google a bit before you can even advertise there anyways... plus the SEO monies gives you a BUDGET to work with. If you're pulling in $100/day from SEO traffic, you can drop $40 or $50/day in testing and still pay rent and buy food.
Thank you all for your input.. Im confident about article marketing and im gonna keep doing it untill i get the funds i need to do ppc and facebook ads.
I built my first site (not affiliate marketing related) with around $40 in startup money (which was spent on a domain name and a VPS). I later sold that site for $4,500 and used that money to get into affiliate marketing.
