Wordpress free accounts?

Are these of any benefit to aff marketers?

I opened an account to see what they were all about and found out that I can't:

1. Edit the theme to add adverts
2. Use Adsense or any other javascript
3. Edit the css

So to me they are absolutely no use... please correct me if I'm wrong

Blogspot accounts will be a better fit for you if you HAVE to go the free route.

But c'mon. You really don't have $8 for a domain and $4 a month for hosting to use the "real" WP software? It's worth for a million other reasons.

Yeah thanks - I'll check blogger out.

I really do have $$$ for hosting and domains... just investigating any benefits of free accounts.

My advice to you would be to open an account with a hosting company that supports Fantastico. Then it takes about 2 mins to set up a blog and then you are not susceptible to Wordpress.
