So one of my Autoblogs died in my server move (i posted about it a while ago)

Basically, it still works, still generates posts, still makes money. But i can't login.
I tried changing the password, changing the user, etc but it's not working.

If i was to remake it all with a new WP install but copy the wp_posts over from the database, could i theoretically get it working again?

I don't want it anymore and i want it gone (earned over $300 from it so far, but i'm trying to save up the cash quickly for a new apartment!)

Any ideas on how to fix this fellas? :bigear:

This is on WPMU right? Your sql file might be slightly hosed. I would definitely backup now before you keep messing with it. The data in that blog might be screwed up somehow. But WPMU uses one bigass file. You dont want everything to go down or the problem to grow.

Back up first then continue messing with it. Maybe look at the mysql file with an editor.

Someone else might have a better idea. I have never seen this.

Right, so i deleted everything via FTP except the WP_Content folder.
I've uploaded the newer version of WP.

Now i get the "Upgrade Database" message, but it won't load on the 2nd page.
This is what i get:

Are you upgrading to 2.3.2? I've seen a lot of posts about the new version not working with some plugins and themes. Try going back to an older version or back up and delete the WP_Content folder and replace items 1 by 1 until you find the culprit.

Google Sitemap Generator plugin seems to be a common issue with 2.3.2.

Thanks dude.

I've managed to get into the admin section now. But it seems i don't have the admin rights to do anything. I think i'm just a subscriber.

I changed the Admin Username and password in wp_users but it's still just a subscriber.

Gonna try some more things, will report back.
