I already searched but the threads didn't really explain too much

Can anyone tell me a membership plugin for wordpress which meets the following criteria?

1. It needs a login/password box that ISNT the default wordpress admin login... that just looks fucking trashy I dont understand why they dont have a custom solution so you can put it on your homepage or something.

2. It needs to integrate with authorize.net seamlessly

3. It will basically be recurring subscription through authroize.net monthly, and they will view one or two pages (they are getting access to a premium webinar essentially that is held weekly). There's no need (at least for now) for dripped content

So far I've looked at memberwing, but it doesnt integrate with authorize.net out of the box, even though it says it does... you have to write custom scripts and shit.

I've looked at Digital Accesss Pass (DAP) But im reading some reviews that this product is a huge headache, not to mention this is his demo page.....

Login Techizens.com

fucking pathetic

there was a third, MagicMembers, but I haven't heard much about this one.

Does anyone know of a plugin to do this? You'd think it would be easy yet all these look like they completely suck. Most importantly I need it to work seamlessly with authorize.net and also the login page to be custom so I can make it look good on the site

Cheers :food-smiley-010:

Just so you know, you can make the signup page look however the fuck you want with CSS.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is perfect out of the box. m i rite?

youre right, but the features I'm asking for aren't difficult...

Second, no shit.. however due to the way wordpress works, you have to set a 'member login' page with DAP, which uses a custom php file to display the same page any time theres a login. It's extremely restricted, as I've had to edit that page before for other clients.

secondly, for memberwing, it looks like it uses the wp-admin function to display a login area just like that. True I could style the entire thing with CSS but when you look at how out of the way that is, its just silly. the point is Im looking for a plugin that outputs some sort of code for a form, or gives you default form code, and from there you take that and put it in your website anywhere you want a login and style it as you please.

For some UGC sites on WP we are using a combination of "WP Hide Dashboard" which removes a lot of settings from subscriber users, and "Customize Your Community" which has custom login and profile pages.

But still a lot of CSS and other stuff was required to get it to look like we wanted.

this is what im talking about, all of them force you to have this as your login (as far as I can tell, the forums dont say much)

WishList Products Customer Center Log In

i can style that with css, but I want it to be on the page.. not as a login area by itself

ahhhh... I get what your saying now. Im sure you should just look at that code and copy/paste it into the header or sidebar and position it wherever you want. Edit: Hurr-durr moment, thats WP login, not for the customer

With that said, I hear Amember is the shit and its what I see most using.

You don't need to use the default login form with WishList. They provide code for you to integrate the form anywhere on your site.

i really like infusionsoft + infusionwp (infusionwp.com) for wordpress membership sites...insanely easy short codes you can add the log in functionality anywhere (home page|a custom 'log in' page|w/e.) authorize.net subscription integration is a breeze w/ infusionsoft...downside is that infusionsoft has monthly fees. i think their fees are worthwhile though for what they do and for how robust their crm + subscription + product delivery + email functions are.

i haven't used amember on wordpress so i don't know about that...i have used amember out of the box though and it's ugly.

I just got magicmembers.. i emailed them and they sent me their ddemo login, as well as the code for the login area and it looks perfect. definitely a higher quality of support + website + plugin dashboard then all the other ones combined (except wishlist, not too sure about that one). Dap and memberwing ftl though

jesus fuck thats expensive.... what features do you get that makes it cost so much?

also if its not wordpress, does it work with any CMS? or is it full integration with static pages. I've only mastered wordpress, I'm not familiar with the other CMS's (other than joomla which i despise)

I use it to manage access to Affiliate Summit videos after each conference - I don't even touch on most of the features.

It's a standalone site that you put a domain on top of - mine is affsummit.com

Anyone have any further feedback on

Digital Access Pass
Memberwing
(or others)

Or any other wordpress membership site software? What I need is integration with clickbank and drip content which both of these seem to handle yet I've seen gripes about DAP on this forum (bout it being ugly, hard to use, etc).

Been looking at these two hard and just have to pick one, but there really hasn't been a thread that prefers one of these over another.

DAP fucking sucked

I went with magicmembers and overall it was quite good, it just took forever for me to get the hang of. theres so many fucking settings, and out of all of them it looked the best.

their support is really good though.

if you go with any of these make sure you get the plugin "branded login screen". it allows you to change the login to a custom page that matches the theme of your site.

good shit, thanks 4 sharing the information. my pirated version of wishlist left much to be desired
