Hi,

I have a review site theme I am currently using. I need to make a modification or edit that will call attention to a certain article I wrote. It can be on the front page only or also as a side button or bar on every page.

Is something like this possible?

I'm pretty sure this is impossible.

WordPress is just so inflexible.

If you can get it done I would imagine it will be in the $XXX to $XXXX range.

Google for "featured posts plugin". You'll find a plethora of plugins that will highlight, sidebar, slider, etc, your "featured posts"

You can check out rssinclude. Not exactly sure what you are going for, but yes it can be done. The best scenario could be to make a static html page for your main page and the rest of the pages in wordpress, which will also increase your homepage load time.

Wordpress has the featured section plugin allready installed into the core. Just feature the post, all updated themes have this feature on it.
