Wordpress --> Post or Page for LP?

So I've seen this topic on here before, but there doesn't seem to be a general consensus as to how to approach this.

It's going to be a stagnant page, so I was thinking of making my LP with a page instead of a post.

Yet others have said to use a post for the landing page, and have the stagnant items like 'disclaimer, ToS, Privacy' etc to be pages.

I'm only running one niche but 1-3 offers on one single page.

Thoughts?
 


Permalinks dude, get the postname/pagename in the permalink and most of the post/page questions are irrelevant.

Keep in mind some plugins work on pages and not posts, and vice versa, so plan accordingly if you ever wish to scale.
