Aight so I turn on my PS3 for the first time in like a week to hit up some COD and I get a error trying to sign in. I try this crap a few times, check my network settings which are good and see the only issue I am having is with the Playstation Network. Get this wack error code which leads me to do a search.

I came across what is an international PS3 network issue for all old Fat PS3 models. The new slim models are working fine? WTF. Anyone pissed off about this? And even more so it has been going on for days now apparently since the reports I read were coming in on the 28th.

Yup, I'm getting the same error. It hasn't been going on for days though; February only has 28 days so it just started last night/early this morning. Some people think it's a hardware problem related to the PS3's internal clock. It's definitely not a network error because people whose consoles aren't connected to the Internet are still encountering the same error. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Shocking, there is a Hitler vid for it....

been down on mine for at least a day. mostly use the PS# to stream anyway, but COD and Other games were erroring on me. Beatles rock band worked fine

Yeah they fixed it apparently, looks like it is running again. I like how their twitter page was so informative, lol. Wondering what other drawbacks there are to running the old PS3. I have the last model that supports PS2 game playback using the software emulator, not that I play many PS2 games if any but its still a nice feature to have. I'm not sure why they got rid of that capability. The original PS3 was hardware based PS2 support then the model after was software based emulator. They should have just kept the software emulator. Looks like they had some design issues with it.
