I think its good they are doing this. It will actually help protect us affiliate marketers because the majors will be put out of business and the small timers will be too scared for the most part to try anything.

All $750k isn't wholly punitive.

Much of it is a rather arbitrary remedy for competitions' lost profits and foregone clicks.
