WP Membership/Subscribers

I would like to try a membership area on a site. Any suggestions on a platform/plugin?

The site is on Wordpress. I've looked into WP-Membership, Amember, and WP-Wishlist. Most of what I read is just affs trying to oversell the products, so I guess I'm looking for some experienced responses. Thanks.

I've done a bit with both magic members and wishlist members....so far wishlist seems to be a bit better and easier to use...good videos too

As canucksfan19 suggested, don't bother looking beyond Magicmembers and Wishlist. Both are super good.

As a blog solutions provider, I have worked continuously on the development of membership websites. After some real tough due diligence, Wishlist clearly comes across as a winner. WishList Member | Membership Site Software - Super cool stuff!

A follow-up: Are there definitive blogs that are known for subscriptions that come to mind? I was working through the testimonials on Wishlist, and most, if not all the sites were relatively small (in terms of traffic served.) I'd like to see a few major players to see how to best work the idea of selling the subscription.
