I can't work on my sites from my day job easily, so I'm going to try to make my daytime hours more productive by writing for some lucky person. Normally I wouldn't even put myself on the market, but I figured it might be fun for a change.

Bachelor's in Journalism, several hundred thousand words written. Yadda, yadda.

My rate?

$3 per 100 words.

For those of you who are mathematically challenged, that works out to be $15 per 500 words. That seems to be the article length most people are requesting.

Articles will be at most 3000 words. Anything more than that and I might get bored.

Now, I'm not guaranteeing how long I will be doing this, or how many people I will end up writing for. What I am guaranteeing is that you will be happy with the work I do.

Or else.

As for topics, well...I guess I'll write about anything. However - if you're looking for sexual topics or other topics that might get someone in trouble as they researched the topic at your typical government job it will take longer to write the article. So I'd prefer to write on work-safe topics. Not saying I won't write about something completely fucked up, just saying it might take a bit longer.

I will take no more than three article requests to start with. That's three articles, total. Not three articles per person. Three articles. So if someone asks for one article, I will have two slots available for other people to request articles for. If someone else comes along and asks for two articles, everyone else on the planet but those two people I'm writing for is fucked until I finish.

Payment in advance. If that's a problem, you're not the customer for me. If you think my rate is too high, you're also not the customer for me.

If you're interested, PM me your topic idea, how many words (roughly) you're looking for, the voice you want me to write from and the tone of the article. It's also good to know if this will be part of a larger work or a stand-alone article.
