WTF Windows Firewall or what?

My statsremote, all my tools that involve the software using the net.... they are blocked by something 80% of the time. This is getting old fast. I hate this new computer I'm on... .It has something preinstalled that is for protection but I can't tell what is going on since it's in korean.

..why is your windows in korean?

Users select any one of the installed user interface languages* by opening Control Panel in Regional Options and:

In Windows 2000 MUI - On the General tab, choose one of the languages displayed in the 'Menus and dialogs' control.

In Windows XP MUI - On the Languages tab, choose one of the languages displayed in the 'Language used in menus and dialogs' control.
Changing the user interface language has the effect of displaying menus, dialogs and Help files in the specified language. Changes to the user interface language only become effective after logging off and logging on again.

..why is your windows in korean?

I'm now living in korea to be with fiance and my new parents for about 4 months.. I'm studying really hard and can have basic conversations, but I don't understand a lot of the korean in windows.

You can change the korean to English somewhere in the set up, go to windows or ms.com and see how to do it.

Thumbdrive, external harddrive, dvd-r, etc etc etc

Then format that bitch. Least that way you can get it in english by default but add back korean via IME.
