The code will get you the domain for free for 1 year. After 1 year, you get to decide whether to keep it or not. To keep it you will need to pay for renewal at their current rate. If not they won't charge you a dime.
Each Account can only use 1 of these codes. Therefore if you try to register 2 domains with codes on the same account it won't work. You need to make another account and use the second code.
