Haven't been on my Xbox in about a year or so. Jumped on the other day to find a new interface, and ads. This struck me as a bold move, considering Microsoft charges a membership fee.

Then I found this video:

Um, if this is good marketing, then I quit. It's a year old, but this campaign is in full force. This shit really works?
 


Yea they started this a few months ago.

I'm never really on the dashboard surfing around so they hardly piss me off and I barely notice them. But as I marketer, I never click on any ads, so idk.
 
Now I remember why I stopped playing Xbox about two years ago.

They would rather work on stuff like this than on making good games.
 
Who the fuck wants to tweet a fucking advertisement? Or opt-in to spam blast themselves for the sake of spam blasting?!

I think this guy in the video knows its full of shit by the way he looks at the ground later in the video. I'd consider moving to a PS3, if gaming wasn't a waste of life.
