XFBML or Iframe

XFBML is used in conjunction with iFrames (a subset of FBML for use with iFrames).

I'm assuming you meant FBML vs iFrames, in the context of applications.

In that case, definitely iFrames...Facebook will stop supporting FBML apps soon, + you have way more control with iFrames.
