Paused a campaign 5-6 hours ago, offer capped, was done for the day. Went back about an hour later to check stats for the day, noticed spend was up about $100. Thought ok, no problem guess thats just stats catching up, whatever. Just checked it now and noticed spend was up about $700 from when I paused the campaign. Reloaded 10 mins later and noticed it was continuing to go up, even though it had been paused for hours. To make it even better, I wasn't even receiving any clicks from them! YAY!

comically I can time and time again start trends and drive huge volumes elsewhere, but have never made a dime on a FB.
I doubt I'm alone
Couple more threads about this before TechCrunch will report yet another the brouhaha bout FB Ads.
That they're not recognizing paused ads as being paused is normal-ish (by facebook standards), but charging you for clicks you're not getting is pretty ridiculous.

LOL sounds like ONLY his clicks were paused, not his impressions. :thefinger:
This may actually be true as my ROI was higher, then normalized after the additional spend was added, however, when I unpaused the campaign and set my bid to .01 the spend being added on went from $20 every update (15 mins or so) to around $1-2, to finally after about an hour to nothing. As if I didn't have to babysit this campaign enough already :small-smiley-026:
Yeah had this today too. They were completely misreporting my CTR actually (about 2-3% more than it actually was. Yeah I couldn't believe it) and my spend was way lower than it was. So I check in this evening to see my spend jumping from $10 to $70. Well I still made a 100% ROI but to make that money with 10$ would have been far cooler.
