Was anybody else completely unimpressed with the way Hughes approached that fight?

He looked like he thought he was going to just roll through GSP, but no dice. Props to GSP for being focused as hell. Thumbs down to Hughes for thinking it was a joke fight.

Oh yeah, and WTF is with Tim Sylvia? His last two title defenses have been the lamest, most boring fights I've seen in ages. He used to be fun to watch, but now he just lumbers around and sticks jabs out there. Boring...

Yeah Hughes went in to the fight thinking it was gonna be cake.....thats what happen when you think your a badass! GSP performace was unreal....straight hard jabs, good use of his legs, and very FOCUS! Overall it was a great fight.

Tim Sylvia is a joke...he can't do shit! His biggest and only advantage is his HEIGHT and REACH...even with that he sucks!....The last match was not fair at all! Think about 6'8" Sylvia vs 6'0 Monson...but Monson gave him some comp!....
 
Have a look at the vid search in my signature. If one vid host gets rid of a vid, you can filter to see if another has it.

Totally agree. Sadly Monson isn't even 6'0, I think he's 5'9". At the beginning of the fight they said Sylvia is 11 inches taller.

I can't wait to see Brandon Vera cut Sylvia down to size. It's coming. I don't think Sylvia's size will help when he has to try and keep up with the pace that Vera sets.
 
the GSP Hughes fight was insane!! I totally didn't expect it to be so fast or one-sided at all. It was shweeeet!!!
