This was released a few years ago, I watched it last night. The kid in Gitmo was a Canadian, and the interrogation in the videos were conducted by Canadian Intel. Also has commentary on the videos by people who knew him- some were cellmates, one (bald guy with the beard) was a U.S. soldier who worked there.

Ohhh, too bad for him. He's the one who made the decision to fight, and start lobbing grenades at soldiers in Afghanistan. Yet this movie wants me to feel sorry for him? Not likely.

If you start throwing grenades around in a war zone, then yes, there's a chance bad shit is going to happen to you.

Why can't they charge him with a crime, have a trial and let the actual evidence be considered?

All this sounds well. However, if this person was instead an afghan fighting on his own territory, his fate would have been the same....I guess the most powerful countries always end up not only winning, but also being the good guys in the story, despite, you know.....invading countries for strategic reasons, and not simply because of that country hosting terrorists....

Is the prisoner a terrorist or just a soldier trying to keep invaders away?.
