Man, kids are getting smarter, and technology is getting better. These kids managed to reproduce Harry Potter style graphics at home. I'm not sure how they did it, but wow.

And I'll go ahead and wonder once again why I couldn't get that to embed. EDIT: OH SHNAP!

LOL, saw this yesterday.

There were some people that tried to create their own version of this video. Turns out it is harder than it appears. Skillz.

His parents probably work in CGI industry or something, no way he made this without a render farm

This is a beautiful testament to what's possible when you have a vision, endless drive/ambition, and access to the vast resources necessary to make something like this.

+1 to mankind.

They just pulled the frames where his feet were touching the ground?

Yes. He just jumped continuously, and the frames where he is air born are kept, all other frames dropped.

Seriously? Wow, that's crazy if true, I didn't think of that. I'm guessing you must work in the industry or something? I have friends who are good in CAD, no doubt they'd have worked it out.

The more I watch and think about this, I believe the "whooping" sound is actually an esoteric Tibetan mantra used to aurally manipulate the space-time surrounding the practitioner. It turns the field of space-time into a more viscous form of aether, which is why he's kicking his legs like that. It is a form of propulsion through gelatinized tensor fields. But it also reminds me of a dolphin flopping around and trying to echolocate, which makes me think of Skohh.

Reads like something Pewep would write.

Yep...very obvious, easy way to accomplish the effect.

My video editing education goes as far as Windows Movie Maker, and I figured it out immediately.

Actually no, I take that back. Nothing short of the computers used to render Toy Story 3 could accomplish this.
