Hey all.

I have a campaign set with a $999/day daily budget. I hit that budget every day but have been trying to fly under the radar a bit so havent increased that particular campaign any higher. Today my ad stopped at $752 and I got a message:

Your campaign has exceeded its spending limit for this month.

What the heck does that mean? Isnt Adwords still calculated on a daily budget x 30? Ive never seen this message before.

I know I'm stating the obvious here but did you make sure that other campaigns didn't put you over a limit you set for a grouping of ads?

Sometimes you can stare at shit like that forever and its the most obvious solution that you somehow overlooked. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but its a possibility!

The budget you set is on the campaign level not the account level, so i would assume any other campaign should have no effect on this one. Thanks for trying though :) - This is Google by the way, not sure if I made that clear in my original post.

"reached or exceeded you budget" is generally risk review

Ive had the monthly message before on campaigns with small budgets, try upping it for like 10 minutes and see it starts showing your ads

hopefully its not a review. It's been running for a while and never got a charge declined or anything.

I did notice that traffic started again this morning, so i guess thats a good thing :)

If it's a review (and it sounds like it is), it'll stop at the same point again today until they review it. I have a similar thing going on with one of my new accounts. Oh, and don't email them and ask them about speeding up the review. After I did that, several days later, they must have checked all my accounts and a few of my long-running campaigns got slapped.
