Just wondering how you can generate nice backlinks to your YouTube videos. I know that just posting a video on YouTube will lead to scraper sites embedding your video, thus giving you some link backs. Some of them get a decent amount of traffic.

I have been trying to "fake" these links, but not too sure where to go. I created this page here: YouTube Video Marketing | Shudogg Dot Com
Every video I upload to YouTube, I add the embed code to that page. Maybe if I can start getting some traffic to that page, it could lead to some nice backlinks to ALL of my videos.

Basically what the top guys do is have a few sites of their own that have good scores (traffic and pagerank). The then link to their video from their sites. They are faking the natural process of scraper sites linking their videos.

Any ideas of how I can get additional links to my videos. I am talking about when you go to the statistics section under the video, and it shows the incoming links.

Would blogspot and wordpress.com sites work? I already have about 6 domains, and don't really want to pay for additional ones for splogs.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen some scrap scrips for youtube, but wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for.
 
If you can install the plugin on them, then yes, you can use them. Just try it.
You can also setup subdomains... make some with the keywords you are after.

And don't you dare repping me.
 
Alright, thanks. I have done tons of other things in marketing, just never done autoblogging yet. I figure if I could get a handful of autoblogs running, I will see in a month or two if its worth it.

Is that sarcasm? Were you wanting me to add rep, or no?
 
I'm not 100% clear on what you're looking for, but as for getting more hits/links under the statistics tab, you can always embed the crap out of it in myspace comments. There are still lots of really popular myspace artists that allow html (lord knows why). Flyleaf is one that comes to mind.

However, as of recently, it appears YouTube has stopped counting autoplay views, which really sucks, because in the past you could just embed the same video like 3 times in one comment on a high-traffic myspace profile and have them all autoplay, resulting in tons of views (and subsequently better video ranking/visibility). now it takes a little more effort since real users actually have to start the video manually for it to count.

That is the whole point of splogs, fire and forget. Set them up, and leave them running. Youtube backlinks from my experience are a hit or miss, some work, some don't. I have tried flooding the link area with my sites as well, the best method was similar to what kingofsp said. It doesnt work anymore.

Make sure you social bookmark the videos on your splogs. And that means make a splog that is halfway presentable.
 
I don't get why not to rep if you helped out and posted a decent post. Anyways, I tried Easy Blogger Creater, and that thing isn't easy. I bet it has over 100 text boxes. I searched for scrape scripts, I couldn't find anything promising. I did find what the RSS api feed is for my youtube videos. I tried that in blogger, and it just showed links to the videos.

So I guess I need a software to create a handful of blogs, and for it to scrape my youtube rss feed showing the title and the video.

I have never done autoblogging/scraping before. I just thought I would learn how to setup scraper sites and see if I can create another stream of income (even if it is only $100 a month total).

I have searched for scripts and software to autoblog, but felt I was just running in circles. Couldn't find any decent posts/software.

In addition to creating tons of autoblog sites, I wanted to turn my main domain, shudogg.com, into an autoblog for the "make money online niche". I have a PR of 2, and with some of my posts, notice pretty good rankings in YouTube. Now it is just about getting the right posts up on shudogg.com for high traffic/low comp keywords. I have the weight, so if I autoblog, hopefully I will hit some decent keywords. But first I gotta learn how to throw up 10,50,100 autoblogs that post and I don't have to touch
 
The error here is that you are trying to automate a process that you dont understand yet, because you havent built it manually.

Scraper scripts are feedwordpress + wpomatic. The first is better at resource usage, the second is easier to install and has keyword rewrite, very useful (e.g. rewrite money to html link with anchor money or aff link)

Get to the point where you can set up a new splog in 5 minutes, (not kidding) and then you will understand how to automate.
