Hi,

My primary adsense got banned. No, am not going to whine about it here :) I am thinking of the best options to monetize the traffic from my adsense dependent sites.

I am seriously thinking of getting into YPN but given that i am not from US and dont have U.S. Social Security or Tax ID Number. I have a very slim chance of getting into the program under my name.

I was invited for by a Yahoo rep to join YPN beta a few years ago, i got to register and view the YPN console for a few days but the compliance team noticed that i am not from US so they had to cancel my account.

Is there an option for a non-US citizen to apply for YPN? i am thinking of asking a friend from US to register under his name.

What are the pros and cons of doing method above.

One important issue is tax deductions, does YPN auto-deduct taxes before payout?

Another thing, can i use another adsense publisher code on my existing site? I tried inserting another publisher ID and it still works. My network is not banned but my account is not showing ads anymore.

Any yahoo rep here? ;)

I would appreciate any inputs, advice, tips etc. If you dont want it in public, feel free to PM me anytime :)

Thanks in advance.

I have not even been able to get in as a U.S. publisher. Every time I apply, I get an email a couple weeks later about them still being in Beta and not accepting any more users. They always say that they will let me know when they are no longer in Beta and accepting more users, but they have been in Beta for years.

netphase,

This is bad news. it means i cant get into YPN even if i have a friend in US with all the requirements. thanks for the info.

Yeah I haven't had any luck either.

I have applied 3 or 4 times over the past year. Every time under my American wife's name/info, and through a US web-proxy. I have never even heard back from them and gave up the whole idea.

Looks like 2nd best option for us after Adsense is Adbrite, but their payouts suck ass.
