This change will allow us to provide better support (not that it was bad to begin with) and focus more on VPS hosting. ABOUT OUR VPS PLANS: All of our VPS plans are fully managed and include free DirectAdmin. Just to pump this thread, I am a happy and supportive customer of ZenSix VPS. No subigo is not paying me or giving me any kind of discount for this review. In fact he never asked I just love the service.

This IS the best (managed) VPS you will find for you dollar - period.

Support is great, the people answering questions know their shit. Your VPS always performs well (because he doesn't oversell).

What does that really mean? It means you actually get more with your VPS than what you signed up for, and at his prices I think hes actually bat shit crazy to sell for what he does.

It'll take you about an hour to learn Direct Admin, it's just like cPanel with a few things changed around, and I love it. It's much better than cPanel + WHM that some hosts give you (like wiredtree).

Jump on the VPS's ASAP!

Hey guys... thanks for all of the good reviews :)

If you ordered in the past 8-12 hours or so, I'll be setting your account up soon. I don't let the regular techs do the setups, because I want to make sure they're done right. Also, keep in mind that we have to order our DirectAdmin licenses from our datacenter after you request them. So it can sometimes take up to 24 hours to get them (depending on how busy the datacenter's sales department is that day).

Anyway, I think we have like 3-4 spots left (that also depends on what size plan people order before you) if anyone still needs one.
 
Hi subigo, I'm interested in some shared hosting with zensix, but just wondered if you could clear up a couple things for me?

I promote some dating services and not sure if this counts as adult? None of the content is adult - can use clean pics only and all ads are clean but I don't know where the boundaries lie with what defines adult content.

Do you offer any adult hosting at all? I'd also like to get into marketing and/or selling adult toys, but can find a different host for just my adult sites if neccessary. still no porn involved, but toys and reviews will be present.

I'm still interested for vanilla stuff, especially my ecommerce site for which I have a domain registered with another host. I'm not planning on renewing with them as they're a bit pricey but I'd like to switch the domain over and not sure how to do this as I'm a bit of a noob. is it fairly simple? switching the site over I'm okay with, its just the domain I'm not sure about.

Adult dating sites are fine... so are "adult" stores. Basically, we just don't allow porn sites.

As for transferring the domain, we don't do domain registration at all. I'd suggest transferring it to a real registrar like namecheap, godaddy, etc... that way you won't have to worry about transferring the domain every time you move to a new host.
 
I bought a VPS hosting from ZenSix 2 days ago.

I needed 6 of my sites moved over from hostgator and direct admin installed on my account. This is not covered under the hosting price listed above. However, they agreed to do this for free. The tech assigned to me kept me informed about the whole process and got every thing done within a day. All my sites are up and running with no problems. The service, communication and response has been fantastic.

I am totally impressed.

Highly recommended.

If you want to subscribe to this thread, or bookmark it, I'll update it when spots become available. I'm not going to do another waiting list like last time... but I'm sure they'll be at least a couple cancellations throughout the month (maybe).

Anyone who signed up in the past 24 hours should have their new account information by 5pm CST today.

We've got one VPS-3 plan available, or two VPS-1 plans available... depending on who claims what first. Someone ordered a VPS-3, but cancelled after deciding they'd rather use cPanel.

So first person to claim a spot in this thread gets it. If the first person claims a VPS-3, we're sold out again. If the first person claims a VPS-1, then another person can post as well for the second VPS-1... make sense?
