Zig Ziglar died today



I owe this man so much. This is the guy who taught me how to sell. RIP zig looks like you finally got your round toit

RIP Zig.


No disrespect to him, but everytime I hear his name I think of an old bounty hunter / bailbonds I knew with the exact same name. It's such an unusual name that when I first started hearing about this Zig Ziglar I thought it was the same person. Then I realized they were do different people and I felt stupid.
 
RIP.

Snagged an old VHS of his from a past employer when they were moving. Guy was definitely a legend.

You have to get the audio version to truly appreciate the man's work. His later stuff was mostly religious type crap. but if you get the older stuff its still relevant. In my opinion the following is his best work

Helped me when I was a young sales dog.
Good trick I gleamed from Zig's material was as soon as you wake up, clap your hands and as your feet hit the ground say "Todays going to be a good day." Then go. He recognized that it was kinda silly, but try it.
