Just got this email from my AM at CPAStorm:

We received a report from our advertiser for the [OFFER NAME] offer, and they have asked us to blacklist you from this offer because your traffic is not backing out for them. This blacklist goes into effect tomorrow, 4/14/09, at 12 pm MT; so, please take this offer down as soon as possible. Thanks!!

I was like WTF! Damn! This was my first home-run CPA offer... and now I have to start looking elsewhere! Of course it's not my only offer, but the best one so far.

The offer was a zip submit. Is this some kind of recurrent practice? My traffic was not crappy at all, it was all straight from adwords (search & content), but some of the keywords where not very targeted. What do you think?

Thanks!

i've had the same thing happen with tier 1 ppc before as well. sucks but not much you can do about it - bottom line is if they can't make $ with your traffic its their right to drop you. maybe find another affiliate network that has the same or similar offer?

Yeah, I get where they're coming from... if they can't monetize my traffic they will cut me off. I don't know if I'm getting paranoid here, but maybe they're fucking me over my keywords? I'm currently using T202 uncloaked links...

Well, I hope they do pay me for the leads I sent before the blacklist... anyone here with similar experiences that can give me some pointers to avoid/minimize this kind of shit in the future? Thanks for your replies so far guys

Don't worry about it and just find another offer for the traffic or just work on something else. I would not try to shape your future actions on how to avoid this but still on how to make a profitable campaign. If it happens 3-4 more times then start worrying about what you are doing wrong.

I've had traffic that one advertiser turned up there nose at and another of pretty much the same type loved it.

But yes no reason not to cloak right?

Dude-props to CPA storm and the advertiser for giving you the respect of TELLING you. Most zip advertisers simply turn on the scrub machine and you watch your epcs and conversions go to shit.

I'd be careful about running the exact same offer through another network. If the merchant finds out you've done this, they can get mighty pissed and they certainly wouldn't pay you a second batch of leads.

Well I just got paid today from CPAStorm for leads sent during March :) ... so I guess the lesson learned is: find a profitable offer, and rape it until the advertiser pulls the plug LOL

I was just thinking the same thing. Ive run TONS & TONS of email submits and zip submits and rarely do they ever pay you the courtesy of telling you they are taking you off the offer. Usually they just shave and scrub down to 0% conversion rate.
