Best place to download NDS Roms?

So, I just ordered a Nintendo DSI XL and an Acekard 2i because:

1.) Fuck you, I'm not paying for games
2.) I'm from the internet

Now, my only problem is finding a place that actually has the roms. I've searched for sites on Google, but most of them don't let you download the roms or they've been removed from the external file sharing site for copyright infringement. I've tried torrents too, and they're not that helpful since the trackers are down. So, where does WF get their NDS Roms?

I like Demonoid just as much as the next guy, but I don't trust it for 0day releases, unless I'm downloading through a VPN or proxy.

Newsgroups probably have a.b.nintendo-ds or something similar that will have new and old releases.

A little off topic but do NDS emulators even work (I'm leaning towards no if you bought a NDS)? I tried to get some working about a year ago and none of the ROMs would ever load correctly.

DeSmuME works quite well for me. I'm planning on playing these games during a long flight though, so I went with the DS and a flash cart instead.
