nope cause I would not ever work "with" someone like you. You might work FOR someone like me but I don't think you would last very long!

You don't even know me, and if you did, you would never have made that statement.

But thanks anyway.

lol, I read the first 4 lines of your first post I don't need to know any more about you! you are nothing will always be nothing but want to be something! Very Very SAD!

Reading your post, it is very difficult to take you seriously. You come of sounding like one of those 10,000 pixel long sales pages for spammy products. Maybe you do have the next YouTube or Digg or whatever, but your approach to recruiting just doesn't ring of someone serious or with the resources to do what you claim you want to do.

What it sounds like is someone that has a half assed idea, and needs a real entrepreneur to give their input and really get it off the ground.

Chris and Lerch are just telling you like it is. If you had come in here, spent some time building a good reputation, contributed to the discussions, etc. Then contacted your candidates via PM, you probably would've been taken more seriously.

Just a thought.

a790 I'll entertain the idea for a minute.

The reason why my company does not offer SEO is because time vs reward is not there. Your offering a stake in a company which helps that time vs reward. I can understand that approach.

However your "search criteria" and "search platform" are completely misplaced. You can't throw out a broadcasted "hey come join us, only 1 of you".. Your asking for a resume of things that don't belong on resumes.

Black Hat, White Hat, Blue Hat, (Not sure why we cling to hats, I perfer socks) these marketing concepts are never seen on resumes. There's no course, or school, or degree for doing online marketing.

There is no way to compare my skills to the next guy.. Granted you can compare income, results, time vs reward but on paper there's not a good way to say... "He's good at seo", "He bad at SEO", "He smells bad", there's too many things that are important in finding the applicant you are seeking that cannot be addressed in a forum.

You'd be better off going to some huge affilate marketing convention, having some mundane contest and rent some time at the podium to spill your pitch to the marketers.

just my 2 bits...

This is what I meant by my first post.

I can get 5k members per year for my own site. And I can keep more than 33% of the profit. Your job is to convince me why I would bother, because in your scenario the marketer is the key player, not the content or tech guys.

But probably not even then, haha. In any case, good luck with the business. Prepare for more flame action. :D

I see your points Mike.

Thank you for posting one of the first useful posts in this thread :)

I posted this as almost a "job posting" per say without anticipating the reaction from the general community of the forum.

It's not that I'm recording each person's criteria and selecting someone based on that alone, but morso I'm looking for someone who can do affiliate marketing but recognizes that there has to be something that can deliver more to them. Affiliate marketing is a great industry, but the reality is that it's also an unstable one.

What we're trying to do is take a company beyond the boundaries of a "paid membership" website. My organization isn't just an online website type of thing; there are a lot of facets to it that expand beyond the online market. The problem that we're facing is that the online market is expanding and we aren't expanding with it.

What I'm looking for is someone who lives and breathes affiliate marketing, someone who knows how to make it work. We are expanding the business on an offline level, as well as online. We are capable of creating our own members, but we both feel that if someone was able to generate 5,000 in the time we generated 1,000 that they deserve to profit from our aqusitions and efforts as well.

There's no "half-assed" idea here. I laughed quite a bit when chriswhatever said that I am nothing and always will be. It's not the insult that I found funny, but the fact that without any amount of decent information he was quick to label me.

That's exactly the reason that I've been successful in the past with other endeavors, though affiliate marketing considerably less so.

I suggest partnering with people you have already done small projects with. That way you already know what they are capable of. Blind solicitations on any forum aren't a good idea, whether people make fun of you or not.

I have tried this in the past and I am not confident in their ability to get the results we're looking for.

I may wind up just offering a salaried marketing position to someone with incentives.

The problem with the internet today is that there is so much skepticism surrounding every offer. Now, a lot of that is well deserved and warranted, but when you try and make an offer yourself others are quick to label it.

But, such is life.

If your
We are expanding the business on an offline level, as well as online.
that leads me to belive the ol brick and morter side of the business is up and running. So how bout shedding some light on what the online side is like?

Whats the project? Sales, service, etc?
Whats the product?
Whats the ticket price?
Whats the tarket audience?
Whats the estimated customer return rate ? (Does customer have use for more than one? will they buy from company again?)
Whats the online marketing budget/ brick and mortar budget?
Whats the competition?
How are they advertising?

too many questions to list... hah.

Hello everyone.

Before I continue I'd like to point out that I am not new to affiliate marketing, and my income currently sits at just over $3,500 profit per month promoting a single niche.

I am looking for someone to become a partner in an online business I am startnig with another individual. The person who agrees to become a partner will receive 33% of the company.

.

well, I wouldn't even qualify since I barely know what internet marketing means.
But wait, you are offering me about $1100 a month and I'd have to sign papers, be tied to you and and even create content for that?

Uhmm, I have one single page that has been earning me $100 a day in automatic since the new year and I am planning to double that for next month. Perhaps I was lucky to find my niche but from where I am standing I'd say you should give up what you are thinking of doing and start afresh as you are trying WAY TOO HARD.
Simplify your life.

I'll do it if I handle all the finances for the company.

If you want people to work for free show us a track record of your successes. I highly doubt anyone wants to jump on board and work for free for a person starting up their first business. Think about what you're asking for a second, if I told you I have a business plan and I want you to come work for me, for free would you do it? I don't think so. And by the way 3k a month is piss poor compared to what you're asking for. Someone that's gonna drive that kind of sales to your site is gonna be making a lot more then that doing what they're doing right now.

Skepticism YES absolutely, you'd be skepitcal too. I have a great project for a company that I'm putting together as well. I want you to invest all your time into my project and I'm willing to give you 33% of it. Do you want to come on board?:D

this guy said he read the forum but thought he was different. He thought the WF community would read his post and line up to jump on his dick.
Either this guy really believes he is the shiznit or is not telling the truth about having really read the forum!
In any even what we are saying is maybe go to warrior forum and find you somebody special to help you with your little project!
