I've grown my content creation as of late, and am getting a decent 20-40 pages of fresh content up a day. I need a little help with the links and etc. Could really use a little help with bookmarking.

I spend to have a team manage my social bookmarking, but it's beginning to seem superfluous. I'd appreciate any thoughts on the following programs or suggestions as replacements:

autopligg.com

onlywire.com

bookmarkingdemon.com

????

The only one I've used is Book Marking Demon. It works pretty well with both its own list of websites and user uploaded lists. You'll need a decaptcher account too if you dont want to enter the captchas yourself. The automated account creation and email verification is great. For large scale you will need some proxies since the built in proxy hider doesnt seem to work.

It is one program that you want to make sure to read the whole manual before taking it for a test spin. You can work it easily enough without instructions, but learn from my mistakes don't start too quickly. Some websites banned my accounts, others my link.

The trick is to do two or three runs with a google or yahoo rss feed when you make your fresh accounts. That way the ones that do detect you running the program and ban you wont have your actual website info, just a fake gmail and fake IP.

Thanks... you probably just saved me a nightmare. Yeah, playing with the flexibility of these automated tools has been a challenge.

Have you found that the accounts that stick after the first two to three test runs stick for some time?

My vote is for bookmarking demon because it's simple to use and quick. And I agree with the previous poster that getting a decaptcher account will save you a lot of time.

I picked it up this weekend. I've been working through the settings, etc... trying to get it going without causing too much damage. One thing about automation in this game is that it sure as hell isn't point and click.

I'm interested to see how content responds to this in comparison to some of the other autolink creators -- the drip, etc. I've set up a couple tests to note the difference. I'll check back in with results.

I have quite a few older accounts now that have stuck. You just have to build them out slowly, 1 or 2 links a day. Like I said, start with a rss feed and alternate with your bookmarks. Your account will look more natural with 2-3 bookmarks a day and only 1 of them pointing to your own website.

Also I took the time on some of the bigger websites to go in and fill out my profile more. Pretty sure that has helped them stick too.

Also if you are short gmail email addresses for account creation here is a trick I use.

Take a domain name you own, set up a email box with catchall settings, have it auto forward to your gmail account. Then you can create random emails @yourdomainname.com and it will automatically land in your gmail box, where book marking demon can validate them.

drake122@yourdomainname.com
bitch-ass-gay-boy@yourdomainname.com

etc

You get the point methinks

Or take gmail out of the picture and just use your domain-email.... since you are registering with them anyways..

i have a cron job running with onlywire .. it works out pretty nice,
you could code up custom subscription with imacros pretty quick too, have a few such scripts

Will pm you regarding request for such scripts. Cron jobs are next on my automaton IM'ing effort.

Started that way. Playing it safe... maybe a little too safe. They're sticking. I did get a few bans... but I understand the mistake now so....

I hadn't thought of that... very smart. Saved me some $$ today.

You can also do the same thing with gmail addresses.

Say your gmail address is 'johndoe@gmail.com' if you add a '+' symbol between the last letter and the @ symbol you can make a sudo catchall gmail address.

For example;

johndoe+blah1@gmail.com
johndoe+meh22@gmail.com
johndoe+ashashf@gmail.com

The above will all be sent to johndoe@gmail.com.

There are other characters that work beside the '+' but I can't remember what the are. If you want to know, Google will tell you.

Damn clever! Thanks.

I am using onlywire. I have nice experience from onlywire. Also my personal opinion manual submission and bookmarking is the best way to increasing your guaranteed back links.
