There are more detailed explanations on my blog but for the sake of brevity...

1 - I used to sprint internationally and went to the Atlanta Olympics'96 as part of the British squad (as a reserve)

2 - I'm from the UK but have lived in the US, New Zealand and Malta.

3 - I grew up on film sets including the original Star Wars trilogy. My dad was the stunt co-ordinator and sword master on the films so myself and my brothers had to go wherever the filming was taking place when we were younger.

4 - I've been on holiday with Harrison Ford.

5 - Chewbacca taught me to swim and I shared a jacuzzi with Princess Leia.

I saw clickit's avatar and it inspireded me to add....

#6 I lived near Chicago, IL and got to be on "Bozo" twice.
Once was with with my sister. My dad worked with a guy who waited years for tickets and by the time he got them, his kids were too old to want to go. My sister and I got to sit on Bozo's lap and say "Friends here's Rocky" to intro the cartoon. My dad tried to watch the show at a bar near where he worked, but couldn't get them to change the channel to Bozo!
The other time with girl scouts.
 
Some of you from ASW may already know this:

1. I don't drink alcohol.

2. Crowds make me nervous

3. I was diagnosed with "Severe Clinical Depression" about 3 years ago

4. While I like people and get along with most, I would say that I really only have a handful of true "friends". People that I know will still love me for all my stupidity and weird traits regardless of what happens.

5. I don't sleep worth a shit without my wife next to me. Got about 3 hours sleep the first night in Vegas. 2nd night I had to buy Excedrin PM and pop 4 of them to get to sleep.
 
I'll join the fray

1. I'd rather be working on my own than for a company, but am still employed.

2. I suffer from bouts of insomia up to one week, also a source of my "tired and cranky" posts.

3. As SEO Mike, I also sleep like crap when my wife isn't around. As she's working insane hours in the restaurant business, more tired and cranky posts to come.

4. I almost got a black belt in Karate before my knee gave out.

5. I used to program software used for psychological research at the
University of the Federal Armed forces of Germany, but spent my active duty as a conscientious objector, working in the surgery of a local hospital.

5. I used to not want kids, but my little girl changed my mind. She is freaking amazing.

4.I started arbitrage on january 1st 2007 and made 100$ in my first 5 days
5. I've been a vegetarian since I was 10 years old
 
1) I used to be a tank driver during my time in the army. Forget 4wheeling - Plowing with a tank through trees, bushes, and other things that can't get out of the way fast enough is a lot of fun.

2) I immigrated to the USA in the late 1990's with just a few dollars in my pocket and became a US citizen as soon as possible by law. I have seen over 40 of the 50 states and want to make it to all 50. I am originally from Western Europe.

3) I published 4 books in 2 different markets and 2 different languages.

4) I am still employed as computer system engineer, but want to become completely self-employed by the end of this year. Still a long way to go as I do not want to occur any kind of debt when making the jump and my wife requires at least 6 months of living expenses in cash.

5) I suck at PPC/affiliate marketing/arbitrage and that really bothers me as I am pretty good with SEO and "not made for Adsense" websites that make good money from Adsense. I will be getting my first 4-digit Adsense check (direct deposit) next month if things continue as they are this month (knock on wood). I hate it that things are so slow moving when PPC is not working for you and you are working whitehat SEO.

dude seriously. Thats pretty gnarly, Santa Barbara, CA right? I've lived here almost my whole life, how long did you last?

3. I sign up for college classes and then drop them so that I dont have to give housing 30% of my wages !!!

1. I grew up in north Idaho around the Aryan nation. Didn't really notice that it was weird that there were no minorities in my school until I got older and moved to Phoenix.

2. My family lived in a 20 foot travel trailer for a while

3. I grew up around alot of skydiving...have seen people die and get seriously injured doing it.

4. I get distracted by helping other people and neglect my own projects. It's really bad...I haven't completely followed through on one of my own projects in months.

5. I met my wife when I was a freshman in high school. She was a senior at the time and her parents hated me. We got married 4 years later and her parents stopped hating me when her youngest sister got knocked up by a 20 year old when she was 16 and her brother ran over a guy with his truck and killed him. Now I don't look like such a bad guy to them.
